Paragon Wiki

Hi Guys! I wanted to create a little blog post to show you guys a couple of templates on the wikia that can be used around the site.

Stats[]

First off I want to start with the Stats template.

This template helps show different in-game stats (Ex. Card stats) on the article you are editing.

For example: Health, 90 Mana or 2.5% Lifesteal

Please use these templates when adding stats instead of putting plain old numbers on the cards. The template was made for easy changing of stats when Epic Games decides to change the stats balances (Like on the recent V29 Patch). With this template I can just edit a small database containing all of the numbers, and site wide those stats are changed.

Stat Template Link

You can check it out in the link above, along with its documentation which has more info on how to use it.

Hero Bubbles, Hexagons and Icons[]

These templates are decoration and navigation templates, used in the mainpage, in pages like Affinities, Roles and even Patch Notes to show off heroes in a more stylish manner.

Hexagons can be used with or without text like this:

Kallari or this The Fey

Bubbles are mostly used in navboxes and on the main page but i've only made them with text at the moment.

Some examples are

Dekker and Feng Mao

Finally icons are smaller versions similar to the Stat icons. They can be used inline in a sentence like this.

I believe TwinBlast was overpowered in v28 but is now more balanced.

Hero Hexa Template

Stub or incomplete Article Notice[]

This template can be used to indicate that the article in question is incomplete and needs more information added.

Examples:

Blood the soil, see victory grow.

Cards[]

This final one is pretty straightforward. It shows a card with its name below it. Clicking on it links to the Card Page.

Edit:They now show a tooltip with the card's info. It is shown automatically if the tooltip exists. Tooltips are stored in the Card Page's Tooltip Subpage (For example: Silent Indignation/Tooltip) If you use a card without a tooltip, you can easily make the Tooltip subpage using this template: Card Tooltip Template documentation is on the template.

Examples:

Silent Indignation
Stone of Salvation
