Tributes are rewards you get for levelling up your profile and heroes, or as a rare reward from watching Twitch streams. Tributes give you a random reward of a common, uncommon or epic quality.
They have been removed in the 38.3 patch, and replaced with Silver Chests.

Master Tributes[]
Master Tributes are earned for levelling Heroes to levels 6, 7 and 9. They are guaranteed to give you a random reward of uncommon quality or better (excluding card packs).
They have been replaced with Diamond Chests.
