After completing a game, the player gains Experience as a reward, together with Reputation. It ceases to be received after the Player Level is maxed out at 99 (doesn't apply to Hero Levels). The received Experience Points are calculated at the end of each game; wins are worth more than losses, and the longer the game lasts, the more XP you gain.
Player Experience and Hero Experience is shared.
Increasing experience gain[]
- Player Experience gain can be increased by purchasing or earning an XP Boost from the store. This will double the experience earned at the end of each match.
- First wins of the Day also grant bonus Experience.
- Playing a hero with the Master Challenge or having such a hero in your team will slightly increase your XP gain based on that hero's level.
